In 1996, the First Edition of The Way of Council was published by Bramble Books. Over the next thirteen years, Jack and Gigi's book sold ten-thousand copies in America and elsewhere, a Hebrew version was published in Israel and a German version was released in 2010.  One of our Arab facilitators is currently working on an Arabic translation. The book has helped many to be introduced to council, deepen their understanding of the practices and to connect with The Ojai Foundation.

Much has happened in the world of council in the past decade, so Jack and Gigi decided--with the encouragement of their publisher--to create a Second Edition of the book. The Way of Council: Second Edition is now available at books stores, on-line and through the Foundation.  Besides all the material in the book being updated, the new Edition contains two new Chapters ("The Implicit Values and Skills of Council" and "The Nature of Council") as well as a long Appendix on "Setting Up a School Council Program." The new edition also has a beautiful brand new cover!
