In Advanced Council Practice, our intention is to open more fully to the way of council beyond personal self-expression, beyond our own story. We will explore "inter-being," empathy, intuition and an expanded sense of relationship as paths to a more committed life. Thinking like a circle. Inviting the group soul to speak through us. Being of service. Living council .This program is for council leaders, those already familiar with the forms and uses of council, who wish to go deeper into the practice. We will offer exercises for aligning our hearts and minds, expanding our focus to serving the soul of the circle. We hope to touch the place where serving self, serving others, and serving the divine may all be one voice.
We will practice becoming a hollow bone, learning how to get out of our own way and giving voice to other beings and worldviews: We will enter the ceremony of council, opening to the Third (the Relationship itself), other species (as in the Council of All Beings), a departed Loved One, the Soul of the Group, an Unborn Child, a Forgotten Dream, inviting dialogue with the natural world, the Earth herself....
Who is invited to participate?
As this Workshop is an Advanced Council Practice, please note that there are some prerequisites: Introduction to Council, plus one other council-based course, such as Flesh & Spirit, the Nature of Council, or Council for Therapists /Youth Leaders / Business Folks. And at least one year of working in council in various applications and venues, such as in schools, relationships, vision fast, as part of social work or personal counselling, men's and women's circles, with businesses, organizations, or intentional communities.
Date: November 1 - 4, 2010. Begin: Monday at 6.00 pm, with dinner, End: Thursday by 3.00 pm
Costs:
Accomodation and food will be 66 CHF per night per person, i.e. 198 CHF
Workshop: between 290 - 390 Euro / 435 - 585 CHF (sliding scale)
