What does it take to thrive, to live sustainably and to live in abundance?
In this half day workshop we will explore the relationship of Permaculture, Regenerative Living and Design and how they can be used as a framework for creating a better world for us today and for future generations to come. Participants will take a guided Land walk and tour in exploration of over 35 years of ecological living and design on a semi-wilderness ridge in the Upper Ojai Valley, known as The Ojai Foundation. Connect face to face with likeminded people and a variety of natural building techniques, such as cob, earth block, super adobe (earth bag), straw-bale and a variety of woodcrafts, as well. Feel and see the power and energy of this place: the Permaculture gardens and paths; the amazing sacred geometry Council House with a living succulent roof; sculpted earth art and kivas; and more. This afternoon experience will conclude with a council circle under an ancient oak tree, journeying into our collective understanding of the relationship between humans, nature, technology and design in 2012, and beyond.
