Two Week Immersion in Permaculture Principles, Mindful Service & Ceremonial Practices

and Special Guest Teachers

This two-week program offers the opportunity to be in service to the Ojai Foundation’s Land and vision for our 40 acres of beautiful semi-wilderness space. Live close to nature as you deepen your understanding of permaculture principles and mindful service. Explore the ceremonial practices and philosophies on which The Ojai Foundation bases its work.
Retreat includes the hands-on application of permaculture principles to Food Forest
Garden Restoration, Trail Clearing, Building Maintenance and other
Team-Building Projects.
Retreat also includes teachings, ceremony and practice in the Way of Council,
Wheel of Life, Self Exploration, Daily Meditation, Solo Time in Nature, co-created Community Potlucks, and optional evenings of Music and the Arts.
$250 for tenting
$450 yurt or dome private accommodations
TOF STAFF & GUEST TEACHERS
Leif Skogberg, ecological educator and designer, serves TOF as Land Steward and Facilities Manager. Leif has worked in various sustainability fields, including natural building, organic gardening, zero waste & permaculture design.
Suzette Maurice, former professional athlete and personal trainer, serves TOF as Groundskeeper and Caretaker with a deep connection and commitment to the Land and ancestors of this place.
Siri Gunnarson, council carrier, youth facilitator, community leader and global citizen, serves as the Beauty Way and Hospitality Coordinator and works with the Path of Service Program as Community and Volunteer Coordinator.
Guest Teachers include The Ojai Foundation Friends, Elders, Staff Members, Council Carriers and Ceremonial Guides.
