During this rich weekend immersion, designed for those who have taken Council 1 and have had experience facilitating Council, we explore working with challenging situations, conflict, and 'The Shadow.'
In Council, we allow ourselves to be moved, to get out of our comfort zone, and to navigate how best to service the circle while maintaining safety and containment. This advanced workshop delves into the varied forms and modalities of Council best suited for different situations, and the joys and challenges of bringing Council into different parts of our lives. This workshop offers opportunity for Council practitioners to become more facile with 'Reading the Interactive Field,' recognizing our sharp edges and "Turning into the Skid" and inviting the perspective of the Witness.
Two veteran Council Trainers will lead this exciting exploration of activities, practices and tools for embracing wholeness, enriching community, and learning to "Think Like A Circle."
This event will take place at Temescal Gateway Park, for directions, click here.
The training begins promptly at 9am on the 19th and will go until 9pm, concluding with a potluck meal. The following day begins at 9am and will go until 6pm.
