Join The Joseph Campbell Foundation Mythological RoundTable of Ojai for an evening on The Mythology of Yoga with Alanna Kaivalya.  Join us as Alanna unpacks Hindu myths and mystical philosophies associated with Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Explorations into mantras and narratives will center on their import into yogic practice and their insights into the timeless trials of human life.

Alanna Kaivalya has been listed as one of Yoga Journal’s Top 20 Teachers Under 40. Her first book, Myths of the Asanas, garnered accolades from Yoga Journal, Elephant Journal, Well+Good NYC, and has sold more than 10,000 copies in five languages. Her new book, Sacred Sound: Discovering the Myth & Meaning Behind Mantra & Kirtan, presents 21 different mantras along with their corresponding mythology and philosophy. The basis of the book was an eCourse, Following Bliss: A Modern Mystic’s Guide to the Hero’s Journey, which was published by the Chopra family's intent.com.
