The Ojai Foundation has recently re-articulated its core mission to "foster practices that awaken our connection with self, others and the natural world" and reorganized its board and staff structure to reflect its three major initiatives: the Land, Council in Schools and the Center for Council Training. The practice of Council continues to be the core offering that weaves througout all our initiatives. Programming on the Land emphasizes "living council" – a practice of living in mindfulness, knowledge of our interdependence and deep listening in all of our interactions with the human and "more-than-human" world.
Our work is carried out by a small staff and many volunteers.
