Accommodations

Sleeping facilities at The Land Sanctuary are simple and rustic, in the style of a private camp in a semi-wilderness setting. We have yurts, domes, and tent sites all with shared bathhouses, hot showers and flush toilets.

Our geodesic domes have canvas walls, wooden plank flooring, zipper-flap entry doors and are roughly 15 feet in diameter.

Our yurts are larger, with wooden plank flooring and a conventional swinging door.

You can stand up in both yurts and domes, and all structures have solar-powered 12-volt lighting. All yurts and some domes include futon beds on frames.  We provide thick, single-size sleeping pads in domes without futon frames.  Most of our structures are designed for shared accommodation, though a few are best suited for couples or singles.

Individuals and groups most often have access to one of our two vegetarian kitchens, the beautiful land, gardens and trails, and to our outdoor fire kivas (for an additional fee). Morning meditation in our beautiful and spacious Council House is open to all.

PLEASE NOTE: All guests must provide their own bedding, towels, pillow, and linen.
